The

Mission

Part I

Abundance

Scarcity is a choice. We choose abundance.

For too long conventional belief has centered around the idea that there isn’t enough to go round: not enough homes, not enough jobs, not enough energy, not enough for a comfortable retirement. That was never a law of nature.

We currently exist in a chokehold of self-imposed artificial scarcity. Artificial scarcity, arising as a result of active, conscious decisions on what gets built, who gets to own it, and who gets left holding the bag.

We believe in a future of radical abundance, where technology, energy, intelligence, and basic necessities such as housing, food and water get cheaper every year. With humanity entering an exponential age of technology, that future is inevitable however much enemies of progress, those who choose to disguise languishing inertia and the pathetic conduit of stagnation as safety and cautiousness, may try to stall and deny it. The question will become who remains in control, when this inevitable future arrives.

The answer to “too expensive” is to build more, more, and yet more.

Everything is expensive. Housing is expensive, energy is expensive, food is expensive, education is expensive, healthcare is comically expensive, and it’s all because we stopped building enough of it.

We choose not to waste time arguing & penny-counting on how to split a shrinking pie. That is a pathetic discussion, and a great symbol of societal death, decay, and despair. A tacit acknowledgement of defeat, and an admission to giving up on a brighter future.

We want to shift societal, cultural and political paradigm towards building a bigger pie, growing it faster and faster, with more people holding larger slices.

In the exponential age of technology, you must also be exponential, alongside technology.

We are on the precipice of the greatest period of wealth creation in human history. Wealth creation stemming from accelerations in AI, automation, breakthroughs in materials science, biotech, and much more.

Without intervention, the same structural inequality that plagues modern society will ensure the wealth created from this acceleration only lands in the hands of incumbent wealth-holders.

If you own nothing, the future happens to you. If you own a piece of it, the future can happen with you.

We want to ensure future generations are healthily positioned for the future. Because you can’t hold back a tsunami with a broom, and you can’t stick your head in the sand either.

Part II

Distribution

Time is your ultimate asset, and your best friend.

One of the most powerful forces in the universe is that of compound growth. Same applies to the world of finance: having enough time in the market beats trying to time the market 9 times out of 10. This means your structural advantage is in starting early, earlier than others and certainly earlier than your parents did.

Young people have been intentionally gatekept out of investing by jargon, designed purposefully to misguide all too many that this world is simply untouchable for them. That they have no chance of understanding, forget about winning, in this world. That is categorically, unilaterally, unequivocally untrue.

We are here – our singular objective above all else – to wholly and entirely obliterate this destructive, repressive, insidiously manufactured myth.

Close the inter-generational gap.

Each successive generation was supposed to do better than the one before. This has been true for basically all of modern history, until millennials, Gen Z, and as things stand, Gen Alpha too. A fundamental promise has been utterly broken.

Real wages have stagnated or declined, while productivity continues its march up, alongside everything else. The income to housing ratio has risen, from around 3 to 6.

We can’t rewrite the past 40 years, but we can fight like hell to ensure the next 40 marks a sharp reversal.

Improving financial literacy isn’t a sole solution to an entire generation’s economic malaise, but it is essential, we do need everything we can on our side, and it is a hell of a powerful way to help close the gap.

“Feel your eyes, they all over me”

No lie. (Haha, get it?) We never lie about what we’re teaching. We’re not trying to sell a get-rich-quick course, because that never materializes into reality.

Investing is and has always been a long game: building up wealth gradually through putting aside a portion of income, month after month, year after year. We have a very clear & critical mission, but we never distort what we’re teaching to suit a narrative.

Same in the short game: we’d never encourage putting money aside for investment purposes if you’re struggling with day-to-day necessities. Honesty is always the best policy.

Counterculturally optimistic.

We’d like to bring back hope. Hope for a better future. Hope to exist in a more peaceful world, under an economic system of equitable abundance.

Hope alone isn’t a plan, and hope doesn’t metastasize out of thin air. Hope can only exist under the precondition that there exists a viable path to said desired future.

We’ve seen the ugly effects of a lack of hope: more and more young people turning to false prophets, selling a mirage of a viable path to a better future for personal gains, parasitically harming countless misguided individuals in the process. More and more young people turning to extremism, and away from each other.

Step one is to provide a genuine viable path, so we can be optimistic again, because millennials deserve better. And Gen Z deserves better. And Gen Alpha, and all our future descendants deserve better. They deserve a more hopeful, optimistic world, focused on growth & development rather than bickering over a shrinking pie of fewer and fewer.

Ambitious is one hell of an understatement to describe our mission, but it’s worth trying. Trying is infinitely better than the alternative, of accepting the status quo & abandoning the future, either out of cowardice or out of squalid, sadistic spite against those willing to fight. We would like nothing more than to absolutely and totally prove those people wrong.

We will chase down this horizon to the end, and we will not stop for a split second to listen to those who disguise timidity for wisdom, and smallness for humility. Because no one will remember the safe hands that never built, that never risked, that never left a mark.

What does matter & what will always matter, is daring. Taking risks, betting big, refusing to compromise with mediocrity & anaemic conformity.

That’s how things are built. That’s how history is made. That’s how you get anywhere worth going.
